POLAND FRUIT&VEG FOCUS MISSION
The Poland Mission of Omnibus Comunicazione has been moved up to 21st September. During the 22nd, after the arrive in Warsaw, has been scheduled a Bronisze’s Wholesale Market tour reserved to Italians fruit&vegetables exporters and also a visit to the main Import-Export Companies, based inside Bronisze or immediately outside, which supply supermarkets and wholesalers all over the Country. In the afternoon, visits to some fruit&vegetables department of the main supermarket chains present in Warsaw. Sets for the 23rd September, the highlight day of the mission, B2Bs meetings with buyers of the Polish Large-Scale Retail Trade. To celebrate this important day, a Gala dinner attended also by the Polish buyers will take place during the night. Saturday 24th, before returning to Italy, delegates will visit infrastructure and production facilities outside Warsaw.
The initiative represents a unique opportunity to meet the Polish market and create competitive advantages in sales and businesses. International retailers as Tesco, Carrefour, Kaufland and Auchan have long been settled in Poland, in addition to Polish quality supermarket chains such as Piotr i Paweł, Stokrotka, Chata Polska, Fresh Market and price retailers, as Polo Market, Dino, MarcPol for a total of around 1,800 sales points. The market leader is the discounter Biedronka with 2,500 stores. The picture is completed by the wholesale outlets, such as the Eurocash Group, supplying their franchise chains.
Poland has 38 million inhabitants. In 2004 it joined the E.U. and since then it has had an important phase of economic growth. Poland is leader in growth in Europe. In 2009 Poland was the only E.U. state not to be dragged into recession, and in the years 2008-2013 its GDP grew overall by more than 20%. This is the best result in the E.U.
Imports of fruit&vegetables from Italy are significant (more than 10% market share). In Poland, the desire of Italy is long-lasting and the fruit&vegetables market is welcome! Nowadays, the only obstacle could be represented by a not-accurate selection of interlocutors.
The registrations for the 25th Omnibus’s Mission are open until July 31st, 2016.
